Our voices need to be heard, and who else better than you would do this. This is why I wanted to share my story with you.
My name is Sindi, 22 years old, and I come from a small country called Albania. I am a DV2020 visa ready selectee, and I am still waiting for my interview date. These past two years have been insane for me and my husband. We dreamt for so long to come and have a better life in America, and when we thought we had reached it, our dreams crushed. How long will it take for everyone to understand that emigrants are no harm? How long will this waiting be? We need an answer. Everyone needs an answer. Our lives keep pending from this ban. My country has one of the greatest numbers of applications and this is because we see no future here. Hopefully everything will get better because we are losing hopes as the days pass by.
