“My wife left the job, and my daughter left school. I am totally disappointed, frustrated and can’t think of what to do next…”

Hello, my name is Resham Raj Paudel from Nepal. I am a DV2020 winner. And as per procedure my interview was scheduled in march 2020 and I finished my medical examination for the first time but due to Covid19 all regular visa activities had been cancelled . After a few months in September 2020 I got a call from the embassy scheduling my interview and again I finished my medical examinations for the second time paid the same amount expecting that time will change and my dream will come true to settle in the USA though  Diversity Visa holders’ entry into the United States was suspended under Presidential Proclamation 10014 (PP10014) till December 31, 2020. Now time to fly realizing my dream is in my way. I even purchased an air ticket , got farewell by my family, relatives and my colleague. Unfortunately when I woke up in the early morning of new year 2021 I was shocked that the proclamation 10014 has been extended through March 31, 2021 whereas my visa will expire in the second week of march 2021. It’s been already very late and my wife left the job, and my daughter left school. I am totally disappointed, frustrated and can’t think of what to do next.

I request you to provide me the information if there is visa renewal/reissue process so that I can be mentally prepare what to do and what not to do even if I can decide my air ticket to be cancelled or to be hold.
